The land on which this house stands was once a portion of Parcels 2 & 3. This house was originally a barn attached to the carriage house in the rear of adjacent Parcel #2. In 1930 the barn was moved to its present location and converted into a large shingled home.
In 1969 an addition to the rear of the house enlarged the kitchen and added a family room. A rear open porch was removed to make way for this addition. In 1973 the front porch was removed and a larger one added as well as another addition on the south side.
