This one story white clapboard home was built in 1958 on land formerly owned by Benjamin T. Clark, by the Edward Marchant family. The two-car garage formerly stood at the rear of the property and was used as a summer cottage by the Marchant family from 1930 to 1958. The size of the narrow lot, established before zoning existed, defined the design of the house. In 1980 a room was added to the south side.
