Reopening Information

The Library is open for in-person visits Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patrons can browse and select materials, pick up items on hold, receive help with reference and informational questions, and use our self-service copiers. Staff will send faxes on patrons’ behalf.

A limited number of computers are available for public use.

Touch-free hand-sanitizer stations are available throughout the building.  Study rooms and tables, the children’s play area, the Conference Room, Meeting Room, and reading areas are not available at this time. Water fountains are closed and food or drink may not be brought into the Library. Limited seating is available throughout the library.  A handful of study carrels are also available downstairs.

The Library will continue to issue library cards virtually.  Please fill out our online form to pre-register. We are also issuing library cards during our open hours.  A patron must present photo ID and proof of residency to obtain a library card in person.  This includes picking up a card that has already been made.  Library cards may be renewed over the phone.

Staff have missed seeing and working with the community in person and we are looking forward to welcoming everyone back into the Library. We have appreciated your patience and messages of support during this challenging time.

Children’s Room

Children under the age of 12 must stay with their caregiver at all times.

Please use a touch-free hand sanitizer station prior to entering the Children’s Room.  Pamphlets, brochures, coloring pages, bookmarks, stickers, toys, and stuffed animals are not available at this time.  Touch-screen AWE Workstations are also unavailable until further notice.

One catalog computer and two desktop computers are available for use during your Library visit.  Copying and printing are permitted.
