Art. 6" Should any member violate the pledge of this society it shall be the duty of the Executive committee to labor to induce him or her to sign a second time Should any member a second time violate the pledge the name of such individual shall be erased from the roll of the Society.
Art. 7" This constitution may be amended by a vote of two thirds of the members present at any regular meeting of the society. Provided that a resolution for the same shall have been presented at some former meeting
Resolved_ that the article of our constitution which contains the pledge was not intended to prohibit the use of wine and spirits for sacramental and medicinal purposes, nor the making of cider to be changed to vinegar
