Art 8 Resolved that the article of our Constitution which contains the Pledge was not intended to prohibit the use of Wine and Spirits for sacramental medicinal and mechanical purposes nor the making of Cider to be turned to vinegar
Art 9 Resolved that this Society shall hold regular monthly meetings on the last sabbath eavning [i.e., evening] in each month and at each meeting a collection shall be taken up for the benefit of the Society
