BETHANY NOTES
Continued from page 3
Bethany residents will be pleased to hear that Edward J. Worthington has returned to his home on Amity Road from the hospital, where he recently underwent a major operation. His condition has shown encouraging improvement, but he will be confined to his room for at least another week.
Mrs. Edward C. Lee and Mrs. Harold V. Simpson were hostesses for the dinner given at the Town Hall on Tuesday evening for the members of the committee and the entertainers who sponsored the Children's Hallowe'en Party on October 31. An informal meeting of the committee followed the dinner.
Benjamin D. Vaill, son of Mr. and Mrs. George D. Vaill of Litchfield Turnpike, celebrated his 7th birthday on Wednesday. A small group of his contemporaries assisted in the departments of pandemonium and demolition.
Mr. and Mrs. John Benson have moved to Sandy Hook. Mrs. Benson is the former Margaret Cochrane, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cochrane of Cheshire Road.
A daughter, Susan Bonnie, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Gambordella of Peck Road on November 30.
