verstiy in Waco, Texas. A chorus will sing Air by Goldmark, ADagio by Tartini and an anthem, The First Easter Morn, by Scott. Doris Knight will singi a soprano solo, Christ Triumphant, by Pietro Yon. The Choir is under the direction of the church organist, Mrs. William A. Knight.
At the Young People's Forum on Easter Sunday evening, the worship service will be led by Jeanne Savoye, Helen Pooman, and James Searles. Robert Snell will lead the discussion following the service.
WOODBRIDGE
The Maundy Thursday Candlelight SErvice at the First Church of Christ in Woodbridge will begin at eight o'clock this evening. A welcome, on behalf of the congregation, will be extended to the new members of the Christian Fellowship, of whom forty-six have joined during this Lenten season.
On Easter morning there will be two services of worship, at nine and at half-past ten. These services will be identical except that the Junior Choir will sing at the early one and the Senior Choir at the later. In order that the pupils may have an opportunity to sit with their parents during the ten-thirty service, there wil be no Church School classes except for the three to five year-old group, which will meet as usual in the lecture room.
The members of the Young Peoples' Pilgrim Fellowship invite all members of the community to the presentation of "Jesus, the Son of Man," which will be given in the Sanctuary at eight o'clock Sunday evening. The service will unfold the Easter story as narrated in the four Gospels, through readings and superb musical recordings. The readers will be Robert J. Hawthorne, Lionel R.Sutfin, H. Allen Brooks, and the Reverend Francis P. Randall.
The Church of The Assumption in Woodbridge is celebrating Mass at eight o'clock each morning this week. On FRiday at three o'clock the Stations of the Cross will be performed. There will be confession as usual Saturday afternoon and evening. On Easter Sunday, there will be Mass at 7:30, and a High Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 o'clock.

WOODBRIDGE NOTES
Mr. and Mrs. William E. Perkins of Race Brook Road have announced the engagement of their daughter, Nancy Jean, to Mr. Albert Fraher Ridinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert F. Ridinger of Bishop Street. Miss Perkins is a graduate of New Haven State Teachers College and is teaching the third grade at the Woodbridge Center School, as well as doing graduate work at Yale University. Mr. Ridinger is a graduate of Yale, Class of 1950, and served in the United States Navy during World WAr II. He is associated with the United States Rubber Company in Naugatuck.
The William H. Warner School P.T.A. will hold a spring Card Party on April 4 at the Woodbridge Town Hall at 8:00 P.M. Mrs. John Barone is general Chairman and has named the following committees: Mrs. D. DeRosa, tickets; Mrs. A. Caruso, cards, tables, and chairs; Mrs. C.H. Butt, publicity; Mrs. J. Barone, door prize; Mrs. A. Luciani, table prizes; Mrs. S. Pisani, hospitality. Assisting on the committee will be: Mrs. J. Canapari, Mrs. A. Perrotti, Mrs. L. Scalzo, Mrs. S. Yaccarino, Mrs. L. Carbone, Mrs. R. Sykes, Mrs. P. LaRusso, Mrs. Gertrude Molloy, and Miss Matilda Bucholz. Tickets may be procured at the door on the evening of the event, from any member of the committee, or by reservation with Mrs. D. DeRosa.
The officers of the Woodbridge Club urge all dancing-age members to join in the free dance at the Club on Saturday, March 31.
When the Business and Professional Men's Orchestra of New Haven gives its annual concert in Sprague Hall at 8:30 P.M. on April 2 (featuring the Saulsbury Choir), it will numbe ramong its performers Mrs. P. Shanbrom, Miss Gloria Balzer, Ants Laan, Thomas Seymour, and Seelye Vidal, all of Woodbridge.
Miss Audrey L'Hommedieu, duaghter of Mr. and Mrs. C.L. L'Hommedieu of Rimmon Road, has been honored by having two of her painings shown in the current exhibition of student work at Dwight Art Museum at Mount HOlyoke College.
Among the young people who are home from school and college for the Easter holiday are Miss Sally Perkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Perkins, who attends Bates College; Herbert Hubbell, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert B. Hubbell of Amity Road, and Herbert Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur F. Brown of Beecher Road, who are both at Hebron Academy; and Charles Butt, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Butt of Amity Road, who is a sophomore at the University of Connecticut.
Pfc. Richard Johnson, who is stationed at the Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona, is spending a two weeks' furlough at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
W. H. Johnson of Amity Road.
Richard Brakewood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Brakewood of South Pease Road, arrived home on Friday for the Easter Holidays. Richard is a freshman in the College of Engineering at the University of Colrado in Boulder, Colorado.
The seventh and eighth grade group held another of its sries of social dancing classes under the direction of Mrs. William Zang last Friday evening. Before the dance, Bob Brakewood entertianed twelve of his friends at a dinner party at his home on South Pease Road. The guests were Denise Kellner, Martha Hoyt, Cornelia Eaton, Mary Elizabeth Bishop, Patty Robinson, Barbara Angier, Peter Smith, Bee Watrous, Jay Roetting, Charles Marvin, Terry Vidal, and Robert Hubbell.
The Woodbridge Education Association is sponsoringa Red Cross First Aid Course for the teachers of the Woodbridge Schools in cooperation with the town's Civil Defense Program. The instructor is Charles Sattig, and the clases are held each Thursday afternoon after school. The first class was held last week.
