On the front lines in the conflict between realism and abstraction was a woman. Georgia O’Keeffe was a woman who was able to influence even the male dominated Avant Garde culture of New York City in the beginnings of the “Modern Century.” Join presenter Jane Blair for a look at her art, her own conflicts, and her solutions in a fertile era of great cultural change.

This program will be held on Zoom. Registration is required to receive the link.

Jane Blair is a sculptor, and has been an art educator in many fine art studio disciplines as well as art history, art appreciation, computer art, photography and graphic illustration. She presently runs an art awareness program called ArtMatters, contributing actively and directly in support of art advocacy for all ages.
